By Rail Services to and from Inverness connect the Highlands with all major UK cities including Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow and London, with onward connections to the West Highlands and North Highlands. Other useful rail contacts are: Scotrail - Tel: 0845 7550 003 - Scotrail operates a range of services in Scotland as well as the daily (except Saturday evenings) sleeper service from London Euston to Inverness. GNER - Tel: 0845 7225 225 - GNER operates a range of services in Scotland and from London to the Highlands. By Coach Several coach operators run daily services to the Highlands from Aberdeen, Glasgow, Edinburgh and London, with connections available from all other parts of the UK. Regular train, bus, air and ferry services operate within the Highlands - the Highland Council produces timetables available locally in tourist information centres etc, or Tel 01463 702458 for a copy.
